How to Pronounce ‘Jobuscar’

The simple answer: [Ja-boo-scar]

I took five years of Spanish in high school and became friends with a good amount of Spanish-speaking people in college. Because of this, I’ve always loved Spanglish words. My first name for this company was ‘Trabajoba.’

The word ‘Trabajaba’ means ‘he worked.’ I will never forget when I first learned this in Spanish class. So trabajoba made perfect sense. I ended up thinking that the name might be a little too goofy, so I came up with Jobuscar.

Buscar in Spanish means ‘Search.’ Because of this, I thought the Spanglish translation of Job search made perfect sense.
