He founded Jobuscar after seeing firsthand how difficult it can be to find a job or the right person for one. His goal is to bridge that gap and make the process less painful for both sides.
With nearly 30,000 LinkedIn connections and a deep network across industries, Mikey uses his reach to help people and teams connect with the right opportunities faster.
Outside of work, he enjoys writing movies, short stories, and music, and spending time with his partner, their sons, and their two dogs.
Jobuscar, pronounced Job-Boo-Scar, is a Spanglish blend of the English word “job” and the Spanish word “buscar,” meaning “to search.”
Mikey has always enjoyed playing with language. After five years of Spanish in high school and close friendships with Spanish-speaking friends in college, he developed a love for Spanglish. His first name idea for the company was “Trabajoba.” He ultimately landed on Jobuscar, a name that captures both the job hunt and the joy of the search.
